Very frustrated SD card user

My 512GB SD card died in 9 months with very minimum usage. Reported and got case number (241228-001715, RMA#RX3270572), and then nothing happened. Since the RMA will be expired on 2/1, after chat with RMA rep, I got the return address by email. Happily sent the letter with defected SD card right after. Due to I didn’t use registered mail, RMA status keep showed no receiving of the defect drive. It has been about a month past, I believe the RMA office ate my SD card, very dishonest and very frustrated. Even I have photos taken when I drop the letter at post office, I got no way to claim the fraud of stealing my card.

Please contact RMA support again and share the photos you took when you mailed the item. Ask for an update on its status. Additionally, reach out to the postal service to check if they have tracking details for your letter. If the card is still missing, you may want to consider filing a complaint with them. Make sure to keep a record of all communication for your reference.

Thanks John,
I made dispute on the webpage a week ago and sent them the photos I took at post office (at 9am Jan 10th) but got no result and keeping saying they need the card returned. There are only 2 possibilities for the return missing: Canadapost lost it or the RMA depot stole it. I would trust Canadapost more. Plus the RMA return information was not given till I requested it. I believe you guys hired very dishonest people in Canada RMA depot.

Hi Gorman,
I hope this situation clears up soon, and that you get the proper response. Wishing you all the best and hoping it’s resolved quickly!

Since the RMA is close to expiring, you might want to escalate the issue by contacting customer support again, referencing your case number, and providing the photos as proof. If they remain unresponsive, consider reaching out via social media (X or Reddit often get faster responses from brands). Also, if you paid for the SD card with a credit card, you might be able to file a dispute for a defective product not being honored under warranty.

Did you follow up with the post office to track the letter? Also, have you reached out to the RMA office again with your proof of mailing to escalate the issue?

Thanks a lot, Ellinor
