Using with Ford Sync

I am a new user who is trying to interface his Sansa clip Zip to a Ford Sync system via the USB interface.

It connects and powers up but the Sync will not read anything from the device.

It can’t find the music files I have transferred to the Clip.

Files are Windows Media Audio Files that I have used on a smaller MP3 device.

What am I missing here. This seems like it should be a no brainer…

Thanks:smiley:

Are the WMA files protected? Meaning authorized for one player only and won’t play on another because it thinks you’re violating the Digital Rights Management rules?

Here are a few other discussions on using a Sansa device with the Ford Sync:

I’m sure you’ll find your answer in one of them.

Will it work if you change the player’s USB setting, under the player’s System settings?
