The 12" MacBook doesn’t have ports hence why I decided to purchase this wireless disk drive. My main goal is to transfer music from one Mac to another without having to buy an adapter. I can open the music that I downloaded from my old Mac but I cannot seem to actually transfer it to the new MacBook. Has anyone run into this and maybe have a solution? There seems to be no app for the MacBook.
there is no app for a Mac. You can use the web interface to access the drive but the functionality is pretty limited in the web interface.
IIRC the new mac has a single USB tye c port that is used for charging. A better drive would probably be the sandisk type c dual drive. https://www.sandisk.com/home/mobile-device-storage/ultra-dual-usb-type-c
