How can i use my device on a public hotspot like hotel? I saw only some old posting with problem but from 2 years ago. So maybe there is a way i do not see. Could not find a solution in manual, forum or web atm. Maybe search for the wrong things.
Saw something with clone mac from other device that has been logged in to the public hotspot. But no idea how to use that.

I use WD My passport wireless pro with latest firmware. Bought and updated yesterday.
Connect to your MPW’s wireless via your PC or mobile app.
Connect your MPW to the Hot-Spot using the MPW’s GUI.
Use your PC or mobile device to accept the T’s and C’s of the hotspot via the MPW and you’ll be connected.
Nice that it can let you accept public Wi-Fi terms and conditions on the phone to connect it up!
One of the things I noticed watching reviews of WDWP is that it’s not recommended to share the files while connected on a public hotspot cause anyone connecting to that hotspot will be able to see all your files from the WDWP? It’s still not possible to password protect the access to the files so you can still stream them over the Wi-Fi at the hotel, perhaps cast them to a Chromecast, but not have other guests in the hotel be able to see (and perhaps even edit/remove) all your files on your WDWP?
