OK, found a nice source for rubber caps for the Clip’s mini-B USB port, for those concerned about dust/sweat/rain getting inside the player:
http://www.bestbyte.net and then search on the product number, CBUS01CPMF.
OK price-wise, at 49 cents. (Better would be a few at that price, for what these are, in the end …) But, $2.49 to ship in the U.S.
It would make sense to buy a few to reduce the shipping per item.
And you only have to buy 30,000 of them to get the price down to 9 cents each. Such a deal!
I wish there was something like this for the 30-pin port on the bottom of the e200 & Fuze series players. Those gaping crevasses are veritable black holes for dust and pocket lint!
Yep, buy a few–you know that they’re going to get lost … Shipping only goes up after 6 units, and then only a bit.
If only Apple’s fix for the 4G iPhone was this inexpensive.

It is. A piece of this
reportedly does the trick. :stuck_out_tongue:
Well, true–but hopefully that’s not the “free case” that the big A will be providing!
