USB Device Not recognized

I have a WD2500XMS-00 Drive, I dropped it accidentaly and since then it was not getting recognized. I get an Error ‘’ USB Device Not recognized ". When I connect I could see the LED Glowing and could hear the Spindle Rotating.

I found on one of a thread, the person in the thread had removed the drive and fixed in the SATA Caddy, Having said that I would like to know what type of HDD is inside the WD2500XMS-00 ( Is it SATA/IDE) can some one tell me. as I could not find any Manual which says about the specification.

Its not possible to determine what drive is inside of a enclosure

it depends on wd availibity at the time they only gaurantee the interface and capacity
