I upload mp3 files to the fuze but then not files all appear in the music folder when I try to listen to these files later. When I reconnect the fuze to my laptop, all the files are there.
The Fuze+ navigates to your files based upon the metadata embedded in those files, be they mp3, wma, FLAC, ogg… This is in the ID3 Tag that is part of the file.
In short, the files are there, but the interface cannot locate them. There’s a simple solution! Let’s put those tags on your files.
Download MP3Tag, a great ID3 tag editing platform. Note, it isn’t the only one out there, but I like it.
Set the “write” format to ID3v2.3 ISO 8859-1 , the format that the Sansa likes best. This is the same format that Windows Media Player uses by default.
