As the subject says, I’d like to upgrade the firmware on my fuze to the latest version. Do I need to upgrade to any intermediate versions along the way, or can I go straight to 01.02.31?

You can just go straight to the latest & greatest. You don’t need to bother with the Updater though; sometimes it’s more trouble than it’s worth.
Just go to the Fuze Firmware Update post here and follow the instructions to download, extract and manually update the firmware.
