Updating Problem

I installed the latest Firmware update and began to update my SE. However, the displayed froozed at 50%.

I uninstalled and re-installed the Firmware and again the SE update froozed at 50%.

Before I try to contact Sandisk tech support for a solution does anyone have any insight or answer to this issue?

If you used the Sansa Firmware Updater, then try manually placing the firmware on the Express following the instructions in the attached thread.

you have to make sure you installed windows media player version 11. otherwise, the firmware updating won’t finish.
