Unlocking my new sd card

Hello,

i recently bought a new sd card for my htc wildfire s, it’s a 8gb class 6 ultra card.

My problem is that from the day i bought it i can’t seem to do anything with it like copy, format scan etc etc…:cry:

i know that you have to unlock it as i have also received a adapter with it, but i don’t know how…and i can’t find any adapter slot on my pc, so any help would be appreciated.

the unlocking part refers to the adapter which came with the card. This has a lock switch on the left hand side.

What is the error message when transferring files from the HTC?

Have you tried the card in a different device?

If you pc doesn’t have an SDHC compatible card slot, you may need a reader to connect the card to the pc.
