Unidentified Icon on Clip screen

Hi - I’m new here, first question!

I bought two Clips recently for my two daughters (they love them), but we’ve noticed an icon appearing on the screen that is undocumented in the instruction pamphlet and that I can’t find reference to here on the site.  It’s a small sideways figure-8 shape with a hash through one of the loops of the 8.  Would like to know what this means?

I can’t be 100% sure without seeing it, but it sounds like what you see when the player is set to “shuffle” mode, which is a random play option.

Yep, shuffle mode.

Music -> Music Options -> Shuffle
