last night I deleted 1 song…somehow lost all but 2 songs. today I tried to go back and add all that I’d saved … and I get “unable to add format mp3…reason unsupported media type”

I assume they’re mp3/wav/wma files? If protected wma files, you’re using WMP to transfer them over and are in the Clip’s MTP mode?
as it turns out i didn’t delete them, then was trying to add the songs when they were still on the unit! duhh! i’m katnips better? half and technologically challanged. thanks though.
