Uh-Oh!

Hello-

My little brother has a Sansa Shaker, which has been wonderful for him, as he’s an extremely musical child. Its just started this problem today, being that we turn it on, it does the power-up sound, then shuts down immediately without the power-down sound. It won’t react to anything other than being turned on, and won’t stay on long enough to push any other buttons. (At this point Mom revealed that she had another Shaker in the case in storage.) I swapped the memory card from the old one into the new, it turned on, then gave the error for lack of memory card. The new one is now functioning with a newly loaded card. Has anyone else had this problem, where the memory card goes corrupted, or know how to fix it? My computer says the disk is unable to be read, so I can’t format it or anything. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

~Lizz
