Summary
Want to load photos from old MACPowerbookG4. Did this 10 years ago when first bought this WD.
Description
The hardrive shows up on my PowerBook with all space available but when I go to load from old iphoto it says it does not recognize format. How do I reformat? I originally used this WD drive with this PowerBook G4 as recently as a few years ago. At some point I reformatted the WD drive and used on PC. Now I emptied WD drive and do not know how to reformat for the PowerBook.
This is what I see in the WD drive when connected to PowerBook G4
System Volume Information folder has 2 folders inside
1st folder IndexerVolumeGuid
States last login blahblahblah and then after “exit” it has –bash/Volumes/My Book/System Volume Information/IndexerGuid: cannot execute binary file logout Process Completed
2nd folder WPSettings.dat
When I double click it goes to install photos that I had tried to load originally eventually it says it cannot import file because file is in unrecognized format.
