Trouble with Synching m250

Hello.  I wonder if you can help

 I just replaced my Sansa mp3 player with an m250 2gb.   So far, lots of problems.

1.   I can only sync one tune at a time and the “copying” will not end unless I hit “cancel”

If I do more than one song, forget it!  It won’t work…

Any ideas?  Is my player defective?

Are you using Windows Media Player 10 or 11?
