I have a My Passport Wireless Pro with current firmware. I have read the articles here about the timestamp issues and I still can’t find a solution. When I import it is 7 hours off. If i take a photo at 3:30 p.m. MST (US), the timestamp on import is 8:30 a.m. My drive is connected to the internet and I am looking at the dashboard which says the correct time. Can someone please explain how to fix this? Thanks.
Plug it into your computer as that is where the time is updated. Check user manual for more info.
That did not work, I think the date and time are correct. I think it might be a Macbook Pro problem. The same thing happens when I insert the card into the Macbook Pro slot on the computer (only it is an even different time). I checked the card on my PC and the date and time are exactly correct. When I bring them into LR the exif data is correct. This is happening with the cards on both cameras I own a Nikon D7000 and Sony a6000. Thanks for your help.

It was my computer not the WD drive. I finally figured out what was going on.
