This is my final plea.

    Hello,

First of all, I’d like to thank everyone for the help, and offer everyone an applogy for the light spam I’ve been scattering around the forums. Now on a more serious matter;
I manage to upload music by click and drag.
I manage to upload images through the converter (which I downloaded from a certain third party site)
But when I try to upload videos by adding them to the “to convert” list (still using Sansa Media Converter 2), and click on the ‘convert button’, the progress bar appears, and the program crashes with a “has encountered a problem and needs to close” error.

This is truly my final plea. I tried ArcSoft (spelling?)'s software, and it didn’t detect my player. I tried Any-video-converter, and it didn’t work… I really don’t know what to do anymore.
Please help!

Sincerely yours,
Karl

Karl,

Where was it that you found the Media Converter software?  I really want to download it.  I couldn’t find it on the Sansa web site like they said.   I’d sure appreciate your help.

Thanks!

    Hello,

Is there no solution at all to my dilema?

Sincerely yours,
Karl

//Edit: Using SMC 1.3, I am able to convert videos, they end up in a folder which I can access. I tried moving those converted videos to my “VIDEO” folder in the player’s directory, but I still can’t play them… I’m truly frustrated now, is there no fix?

I have the same message when I try to convert files “has encountered a problem and needs to close” error.
I  don’t know wha’t the problem.

PS-

Arcsoft’s media converter doesn’t need to detect yourplayer.  You just convert the videos, then copy them onto the Sansa.

You could also try this solution:
