There Is No Disk in the Drive. Please Insert a Disk into Drive \Device\harddisk\Dr1

If my WD My Passport is plugged in, I get the following message at start-up and shut-down. I am using Windows 7.

1. Can you access the drive while Win7 is on?

2. Check Device manager. any device with yellow bang?
