I think it would be fun to have one chat thread where we could talk about off-topic things that usually don’t merit their own individual threads. So I thought a chat thread would be perfect for both passing the time and for attracting more ppl here to stay longer than a few days to get some questions answered. This is a community, after all, so let’s make it more welcoming 
Of course, you can’t just spam in here, but you can make short-ish posts like “hi, how’re you doing” and things like that. Just no random spam…that’s not the point of a chat thread. No flaming, inappropriate stuff…the rules still apply 
And finally, mods/admins, I see no official rules against chat threads, but if you feel this should be against the rules do not hesitate to delete it and make a new rule banning chat threads. I for one think it would be a good addition to the Off Topic discussions board.
So let’s get this party started!
