I know that this is an old subject, however my son’s Express was bricked and useless.
Thanks to this forum I decided to purchase a 2GB microSD card and adapter for $9.99 from Office Depot.
The store brand is “ativa” but it worked. (I have some “ativa” SD cards with SanDisk’s trademark on the back.)
I simply inserted the card into the bricked Express and it came right back to life!
We have another 1GB Express and never had a problem with it.
