Syncing music from CDs

After ripping songs from my CDs to Microsofts Media Player and then syncing them to my Sansa Connect, I’m getting an error message on the Sansa display that “Can’t play - License expired”.  Does this mean I won’t be able to download from CDs or is there a way to work around this?

Verify that you don’t have “Copy protect music” checked, under Tools => Options => Rip.

Would you be referring to the “Tools…” folder of my Sansa Connect or the Microsoft Media Player?

Media Player. By default, WMP creates protected WMA files. Change it to unprotected WMA, or even MP3 if you wish.
