I use my Cruzer 2.0 at work, basically just running Firefox on it plugged nto my laptop. Last week our IT department upgraded our AV program to Symantec Endpoint Protection and the Cruzer version of Firefox now runs like it is on a dial-up connection. My hard drive version runs fine.
Anyone know of a reason why service would degrade so badly due to this switch?
Earlier this year, we installed Symantec Endpoint Protection on our small computer network (40 computers), that uses a VPN. The response time for our point-of-sale application slowed to an absolute crawl! It was bad news, and we ended up uninstalling S.E.P. and replacing it the standard corporate version of Symantec Antivirus.
