Suddenly my WD mybook can't be used and it said 'unspecified' on windows devices

i dunno why after i change my adaptor for wd mybook, it show 0 bytes from 0 bytes in properties, the light is on. but it said ‘unspecified’ on windows devices. what should i do ? because i need the data on it. my wd mybook has 8 TB. Please somebody help me
