Zip and I have been very happy together until she leapt into the sink and got a nano-second dip in dishwater. Shook water out, dried in towel, bagged in rice, charged well. Computer recognizes it and it turns on, but flashes immediately to volume screen and freezes there. I can’t even turn it off. It just goes off automatically after a while. Tried rice therapy for a few more days…same symptoms. Are we doomed to purchase another? We’re still under warranty, but I fear the circumstances void it.
You may be right. You also may want to let the player dry some more, for a whole bunch of days–these little buggers can come back to life when you least expect it.
