MBL locked with no way to unlocke it and it’s Not possible to access to backup and recover tabs.
I’m not so sure that in this way that scheduled backup work.
How to solve ?

Check if upnp is enabled on the router and make sure the drive is seen by the computer
go to home tab and select the drive by clicking on it

Mbl is visible , I’m able to access directly from explorer and web.
when I Select the drive in smartware home a lock appears and tab are grey and not selectable
problem began when i updated to smartware 1.6.4

Have exactly the same problem with a new drive installed, Windows 7, .NET framework installed, UPnP ok. Smartware 1.6.4 is bugged! Drive says locked and cannot unlock it Wonder when this is going tro be resolved.

I have the same problem and I contacted to my local support in Russia. Unfortunately, they cannot help. All they can do is to suggest to switch off the FireWall/Anti-virus and downgrade WD_SW to v.1.5.
I did it , no answers till now. total darkness wondc team.

You are lucky, I don’t have the older version. Where can I find it? Surfed everywhere to no avail…

Thanks, but as you said, it did not help. However, I found version 1.5, installed it and all is well!. Let’s hope WD will have that bug fixed very fast…
