Slotradio cards on Blackberries

Verizon announced it will be supporting Slotradio cards on its Blackberry line of smartphones.  These slotradio cards appear to have an additional 4g of storage left after the pre-programmed music.  It also appears that these cards are basically 8x larger in capacity than the basic slotradio cards.

The real question is whether Blackberries will play existing slotradio cards or only the ones sold for Blackberries.

Anyone from Sandisk have an answer?

no current slotRdio cards will not be compatible with blackberry devices. If you are interested in slotRadio for Blackberry devices you will need to look for slotRadio+ card sold exclusively at Verizon stores. for more information see the official slotRadio+ website

"have an additional 4g of storage left after the pre-programmed music.  It also appears that these cards are basically 8x larger in capacity "

8x larger and 4GB more capacity? That doesn’t make sense. That would mean the regular Slotradio cards are only 0.57 GB. It seems more likely that the regular Slotradio cards are 4 GB and these special cards with 4 GB free are 8 GB.

The Slotradio+ cards will also work on the Slotradio player, the Fuze, and Clip+.
