i’ve got an old Sansa Clip that’s still running fine, but i want a second player to keep at work. i’ve got my eye on a Sansa ClipPlus. it’s system requirements say you need Windows XP SP2. i’m running Windows 7 on my laptop. is that sufficient to use with a Sansa ClipPlus? i’m not familiar with ZP SP2. thanks!
Windows XP Service Pack 2 came out in 2004. That’s the OLDEST Windows with a Windows Media Player that’s compatible–and even Microsoft doesn’t support it any more. Any later Windows, including yours, will be just fine.
In fact, if you put the unit in MSC mode (Settings/System Settings/USB Mode) and don’t bother with Windows Media Player, you can use just about any operating system you want.
excellent news. and i appreciate that little tip about USB mode. thanks very much!
