Hi,
I recently bought a WD ShareSpace NAS RAID. I know it’s not supported anymore. I can login to it with my browser by it’s IP-address and could configure it.
I installed the latest version of WD Discovery (4.2.288). That doesn’t see the drive.
I can see the drive in the Finder with “Go > Connect to server”, but I cannot connect. Not as guest and not as admin with the password I created. I don’t get an error message, but the login-window “shakes” to notify an error.
Can I install other software on the NAS to make it useable? Can I use another client on my mac? Can I fix things with SSH?
I know it’s old, but I’m in favor of reducing waste and keep things working as long as possible.
