Sensa Clip not powering on

My Sensa Clip (2 years old) is detected by my computer and is charging normally but when I unplug it from the usb it goes black and refuses to power on.

What could be the reason for that? Physical (power button) or is it a programming issue (missing a software update) ? Thanks

It is possible/likely that a lead to the Clip’s battery has become undone.  If you are outside the warranty period (1 year in the U.S., 2 years in Europe), you could try prying the halves of the Clip open and then resoldering the battery lead (or gluing it with conductive epoxy); if you are within the warranty period, I’d contact SanDisk about a warranty replacement.

but how do i open sansa clip to replace the battery of fix it

Also, try a search here (search box at upper left) as to others having done this and what worked best for them.
