Hi there,
Chip: SDINBDG4-8G-XI2 (eMMC)
I’m trying to set GP partitions up with extended attributes. I have used the linux tool “mmc gp create” to set these up
The first command I use is “mmc gp create -c 1720320 1 1 0 /dev/mmcblk1”
Then I use
“mmc gp create -c 581632 2 0 0 /dev/mmcblk1”
“mmc gp create -c 581632 3 0 0 /dev/mmcblk1”
“mmc gp create -c 581632 4 0 0 /dev/mmcblk1”
“mmc enh_area set -y 0 3704640 /dev/mmcblk1”
This finishes the partitioning, and after a reboot the partitioning has been done , but the pSLC does not appear to have worked on the first partition as it is twice as large as it should be. I’ve checked the PARTITION_ATTRIBUTE
Partitions attribute [PARTITIONS_ATTRIBUTE]: 0x02
As you can see it seems to indicate that GP1 should be “enhanced” that is pSLC. Can you confirm if this is actually supported with this eMMC part?
