scandisk usb 8gb connects and disappears

Hi all,

When I connect mu usb, my laptop makes connected sound, shows up and disappears. Normally when it’s connected, the lights on my usb should flash but now it just stays still. 

People kept saying go to disk managment. But it doesn’t even show up there. Can anyone please give me some advice on how to fix this problem.

Try it in a different computer.  If it still doesn’t work, it has probably gone to the bit bucket in the sky.

Probably that laptop has it’s drivers corrupted or something. By the way, did it work fine on another laptop? <img src=“https://imagicon.info/cat/5-43/16x16_smiley-happy.gif”/>

Hi guys,

First of all thanks for the reply and again sorry for my late reply. It does not work on other computers. When I connect it, it does make a sound but like i said nothing shows up. It would be understandable if it said ‘not recognised’ but there’s no clue on what’s the problem.
