Hi - I listen to a LOT of audio books. Before downloading them however, I often listen to samples of the book to see if I will like. I discovered today, that ALL of these short 2 minute samples been saved to My Book portable drive for the last millenium. Is there a setting I can use so that this does NOT happen. I really don’t need all of those samples. Thanks in advance.

Smartware is the software that comes with device, correct? If so, yes, that is what I am using.
I take it you save those sample files for later listening. Create a folder for saving just those and see if there is a way in Smartware to exclude that folder.
