Sanza Fuze charges, but is not recgonized by Windows Vista

Hey everybody!

First post here. 

I’ve owned my 8GB Sansa Fuze for about half a year, and I haven’t had too many problems. However, today, when I attempted to access the files on my device, I was unable to do so. The device actively charges via USB, but windows does not recgonize the device at all. I’ve tried forcing it into MTP and MSC, and doing a hard reset, but nothing works! Can anybody shed some light on my issue?

Hi,

    I am having the same problem. My device manager says this,“Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19),” I don’t have a clue what to do.

Hi,

    I had to go to my Device Manager and click on the Sansa Fuze. Unistall the fuze and then plug it back in and it will do the software install from the player and that did work for me.
