Sansa Media Converter says "not enough space" to install (solved)

Just wanted to share this because it has been driving me crazy for a few days now. SMC would not install it kept saying I didn’t have enough free space on drive C: (I had 30 gb free space). I have seen others having this problem so here is what I did. (I use Windows XP, but there is probably a similar way in vista/windows7) Right click the install file and click properties. Click compatibilty tab. Then select run this program in compatibilty mode for windows 98. As soon as I did this it installed perfectly. I hope this helps someone.

Were you trying to use an old SMC version?

It was the latest version downloaded through the sansa updater

Interesting!  On my installation (Windows 7), I used Windows XP compatibility mode.
