Sansa m260 "No Files" message

When I turn the unit on, “No Files” displays and will not access any songs.  However, I know the songs are loaded, and can view them in Windows when attaching the Sansa to my computer.  How do I repair this?  It is a new problem, the unit used to play fine.

Did you change meanwhile the USB mode ?
From MTP to MSC or vice versa ?
Did you check the tags when the device is connected to your PC ?
