Very interesting that it’s not incremental.
And glad ID3v2.4 seems fully supported now–though I still don’t trust UTF, especially from various Linux tagging software that seems to have a lot of variations. I’m leaving ID3v2.3 ISO in my defaults for now.
I have a 4GB Fuze that’s full. I always run everything through MP3Tag and load with WMP. it takes a little longer to load things but my DB refresh always takes less than 30 sec.

You can do Unicode in ID3v2.3. Mp3tag has options for UTF-8 and UTF-16. But I couldn’t tell you whether the Fuze will like them.
