I need help with my media converter, for every time i try to convert a video it will convert, but with no soud. I convert my internet videos with vixy.net might that be the problem .Can someone help!

.avi is a file format, like .mp3 or .txt. It tells your computer how to open the file.
If your computer doesn’t show extensions, go to Windows Help and search for “hide extensions for known”–an option you can un-check. In XP it’s My Computer/Tools/Folder Options/View, probably different in Vista or Windows 7.
There are other video formats, like .flv, .wmv and on and on. Sansa Media Converter needs .avi going into it. But try some of the alternative softwares linked above.
