sansa express 1gb doesn't charge

I bought the palyer a couple of weeks ago and when first tried it out it wouldn’t charge from my USB port (and not identified by any of the 2 PCs i tried).

When I was on the phone with the retailer support it suddenly started working and was fine for a while.

Now it does the same thing, and is not identified/charging on any of my PCs.

Any idea what it might be? Could it be related to the battery being totally drained?

If the player turns on when connected to the pc it should be charging

if its doing something else, like turnong on then off, try a micro sd card to fix it
