Trying to get Ubuntu to recognize my Sansa e280, but no matter the USB mode, it won’t mount. In MSC, Ubuntu doesn’t even say something is plugged in, in MTP it says, “Error mounting Sansa e280”
Any suggestions as to what I need to do?
btw, Windows is out of the question
Things you can find with Google
MSC is Mass Storage Class, the standard USB driver. Try every USB port on your computer to make sure it’s getting enough power to the Sansa, or look at whatever controls USB connections in Linux.
Forget about MTP. That’s for Windows Media Player.
