I formated my sansa clip completly took firm ware off… now i need to reinstall and the updater or m computer reconizes it. so if any one knows how i can reinstall it. contact me
What exactly did you do? And what happens now?
Easiest way to install/re-install the firmware: manually via the firmware upgrade sticky thread at the top of the forum (follow the instructions there–it’s easy). Ditch the Updater, which is always on consuming your computer’s resources.

Formatting does not remove the firmware, only user-added content (files).
