So syncing playcount is very important to me. My understanding is that out of the box the clips or clip+'s don’t support play count syncing, but if you install rockbox on them they will. I also heard that rockbox on the Clip v2 is not very stable, but that Clip+ is? Is this still the case? If so, I would go ahead and buy the Clip+, install rockbox, and sync it with MediaMonkey. Let me know if this would work
I see, thank you for that. So just double checking, rockbox would be the only way to get playcounts sycned from my Clip/Clip+ to my computer, correct? (Since the manufacturer’s firmware doesn’t suppoort the feature?)
