Sansa Clip Plus and a Sennheiser HD 202

I heard that Sennheiser HD-202 and Sansa Clip are bad combination because the cord to brake or short out. Is this true? Because I’m thinking about getting a Sansa Clip Plus but I have a Sennheisser HD 202.
