Sansa clip hang issue

Dear friends,

I have been using sansa clip 4 gb nearly for more than a year without any problems.
But it happened yesterday that my device stopped responding.

To start the device each time i need to reset it by holding the power button and menu button. ( Thanks to the forum for this info)
Also everytime “Refresh Database” happened.

Then I tried the following steps:

  1. I formatted the device using the menu option provided.
  2. I formatted the device using the Windows XP formatting.
  3. I switched on the device and went to system info function. It showed zero music files but the memory says still they are occupied.(Used space is in some GBs).
  4. Also the problem didnt get resolved.

To add on, I downloaded the 01.01.35 firmware
and when i tried to copy into the root folderit says permission denied.

Please help me out. Thanks in advance

Call Tech support , they might have some new tricks to fix your sansa
