Sansa Clip 4g Charging Issue

I have updated the firmware, tried several direct USB ports, even tried my USB phone charger to charge the Sansa Clip 4g.

None seem to be able to get the battery charged past 57%…?

After searching the forums, it appears there a few related issues to charging.

Is there a definative fix…?

Try running down the battery to almost empty, then charge it again. After one or two deep discharge cycles(don’t run it down too much, as this is not so good for the battery), the battery might start responding better. If this doesn’t work, then you might have a defective battery, in which case you should have the player exchanged.
