Sansa c200 wont connect

Hi, i have problem with my sansa mp3 player (model c200)
The mp3 won’t connect on my pc i see only this “tango digital media” and i can’t find this driver.
The mp3 have black screen and only the Blue light is On like this one(this photo is from internet)
Please help me to fix my Mp3 player i love and i want it back to ‘life’!

“my english are very bad sorry for that”

That means that the firmware is corrupt usually.

How did this happen?

i give my mp3 to one friend to put some songs(i dont know what he was do) i try to get this songs from the mp3 to my pc and the mp3 was just frozen i format it and now is “dead”

The Tango media platform basically means that the firmware couldn’t load or the memory chip is completely corrupted. If this happened randomly without you doing something to it, it could mean that the flash memory chip is dead.  If that is true, you will not be able to fix it.

Alternatively, you can try the “recovery mode” here:

http://www.rockbox.org/wiki/SansaC200Port#Troubleshooting

But most likely it will not work in your current state.  If it fails, you can try something called e200tool, but I don’t believe its possible to run it in Windows, so you’d need access to a mac or linux pc.

i will try and i will it post again if i fix it or no, i have dualboot laptop with windows 7 + ubuntu 14

one more thing my sansa c200 is V2 i just say it i dont if this can help more for the solution of my problem

I know the e200tool won’t work on v2 e200 players. It might be the same for the c200 series.

i try this now http://fixmysansa.blogspot.gr/2008/06/i-do-not-take-any-responsibility-for_22.html
but on step 3 i hit this
sudo su
./e200tool recover pribootLoader.rom

and nothing happend i see only this message

bash: ./e200tool: is a directory

You’re in the wrong folder.  I guess you skipped the earlier steps where you select the correct folder.

i pass this but now i stack again at this one

i am new on this i have ubuntu only 2 days…

You may also need libusb-dev. Try:

sudo apt-get install libusb-dev
