Sandisc Extreme 16gb not working, can not access my files!

Hi!

I have been using this flash for less than 2 months. Today it stop working.

As you can see in the attached pdf – photo, the flash is recognized as it should but what I try access my files it shows just a shortcut in the flash with he flash name.

Clicking the shortcut does nothing.

Right click on the shortcut and open file location send me to System32 !

What is going on?

Have any idea how to access my files and restore the flash to work properly?

just  recovered my files and formatted the flash.

It seemed to work fine once.

I copied 4 files, two Pdf’s and 2 docs. I checked them and the were ok.

I ejected the flash drive and plugged it again. The problem  is here again.

No files shown and there is just a shortcut with the flash name.

The shortcut goes to system32.

Is the flash broken?

Should I request a warranty replacement ?

I own the flash less than 2 months.

You upload them to a file sharing site then post links to them.

How did you do that?  And why did you format it if it was working?

I ejected the flash drive and plugged it again. The problem  is here again.

Some how your ejecting it is causing the problem.  Are you using Windows Safely Eject function to do it?

Can you try it in different USB ports?  Can you try it in different pcs?

recovered my files with a freeware software i found on the web

ejected the flash drive with  Windows Safely Eject function always

the problem remains the same in different pc’s and usb ports!
