about 3 months ago, my sansa clip began rejecting certain files. an error message pops up saying"request could not be performed because of and I/O device error". it then proceeds to disonnect all my usb devices, and reconnect them a minute later? please help
do you see the issue with other usb mass storage devices? if so the usb controller on your motherboard could be going bad. if you only see the issue with the clip then the clip is probably bad and will need to be replaced.
