replay recorded material

once i have connected my mp3 to the computer, i download teh files to the computer and can playback easily.

1. the file names however, remain on the mp - yet i can not replay them via teh mp - with earphones or on the computer.

2. a file that was not downloaded i cannot replay unless i transfer it  to the computer and tehn again back from the computer. but only thru the computer. earphones dont help.

any ideas?

I’m sorry, but I find your post a bit confusing.  Can you try it again?

Are you sure that the songs are in a format that the Clip and your computer recognize?

1. i record professional stuff - lectures mostly

5. a file that was not downloaded i cannot replay on the mp unless i transfer it  to the computer and then again back from the 

    computer as a music file - not as a voice file.

it didnt use to be like that.i use d tobe able to listen dierectly with the earphones

any ideas?
