Remove the VCD from my drive and reformat the passport

I want to use my passport just as a external file storage. A friend of mine was able to disable the VCD (Don’t ask me how!) because I’m a Muggle in IT. I want to reformat it because when I tried to use it as a storage on PS3, the PS3 doesn’t recognize the passport; hence, it cannot read it.

Some ideas?

PS3 will not recognize the drive because is NTFS and PS3 only supports FAT32. 

To remove the VCD check this  article 

You’ll need to reformat the drive on FAT32
