Release the Source Code Please!!!

Hi Sandisk,

Firstly a hearty congratulations on making the best MP3 player ever made with the Clip+ (and possibly Zip).

I’ve waited many years for a decent MP3 player to hit the market, and absolutely love my Clip+ 8GB.

I educate everyone on the benefits of a proper MP3 player, and Rockbox firmware.

The Rockbox team has done an amazing job with their firmware, and they really put in some amazing work into the project.

However they’ve still not been able to get USB file transfers working properly on the Clip+

And really its very silly that you don’t help them out by giving them source code, or at least giving them helpful information to get things going.

I’ll only upgrade to the Clip Zip when Rockbox is running stable on it.

You’re shooting yourselves in the foot if you don’t help out.

Your hardware is amazing, but you need to allow your users to decide what software they run.

I look forward to your further success!

On that note if you start taking my advice, you should cater for the hackers by putting some GPIO ports on the board somewhere that is easily accessible.

The player is pretty much as good as it can get. Only way to make it better would be by adding a 2nd microSD slot  to it >:)
